It's a very nice cooler but it really does make some weird noises - quietly - ALL THE TIME. We realize it's the compressor/ etc. but it certainly could be more quiet. We stepped down from a Monogram model and it is obvious.

The placement of the light is not conducive to seeing far enough into the cooler. It would have been helpful if some of the shelves were just glass for easier viewing of the contents.

This unit has been great so far. It cools exactly I just should. I use it primarily for bottles of water and canned beverages. It has worked as expected, runs quietly and looks great.. I did however have to increase the temperature because cans were freezing in the back.

I would stay away from this product. The compressor failed in 25 months and it was just beyond the warranty period. Replacing the compressor would make no sense with no extended warranty. I opted for a Hisense that™€™s performing well and I bout a 3 year warranty on it for $129

Barely lasted 4 years when the compressor ran dry and freon leaked out. Appliance repair guy said it's not worth repairing anymore. Planned obsolescence in the appliance industry yet again.

This is a great fridge with plenty of space and looks great! The shelves are nicely spaced and I like the ability to flipped them over for a different look. It works great, keeping the contents nice and cold. I will say, it is a little noisy, but it really is not a big deal and doesn't bother us much. Definitely a good value for what you paid.

I definitely would not recommend this fridge. It™€™s is extremely noisy - much noisier than the two other full-sized refrigerators I have in my house, and it never stops running! There is always a lot of condensation running down the inside back wall of the unit, and we have just found a good 3 inch size gap where the gasket does not seal properly. I checked on the GE parts website for a replacement gasket and they offer NO replacement parts for this fridge. Do not buy something you cannot get new parts for! I™€™ve tried raising the temperature of the fridge to 42 degrees but it continues to run non-stop. I™€™ve had this unit for 2 years and I haven™€™t had a moment of peace since then. For reference, I live in the northeast so my home is not over hot or humid.

The shelves are nicely built with solid wood accents. They don't adjust enough to hold the cans and bottles we normally store in it. It is a bit noisy. The temperature is just right on the coolest setting. It fits in nicely and looks like it's always been there.

Beverage Fridge Freezes Constantly

Have had the fridge for ~2 years and Had a technician come out and look at the unit. The beverage center fully freezes up around the fan not allowing it to cool properly. It™€™s basically unusable at this point. I will be looking to replace the unit soon

This frig does exactly what I need. Space for cans and bottled drinks, plus wine. The reversable shelves are great, but I wish they pulled out for better access. The lighting is nice, but if the top shelf is full, the light doesn't reach the bottom shelf. I keep the top shelf items back from the front by about 3" which solves that problem. The temperature is great - keeps things cold and is consistent from top to bottom. The door alarm is helpful. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Fails to cool. Freezes up every 10-11 months.

This beverage cooler is rated for temps to 38 degrees, but struggles to to keep 42. About every 10-11 months, it freezes up and fails to cool. I have to unplug for 3-4 days for it to thaw out. I owned for about 3 years now. I did place a service call - tech replaced the controller board, but it still freezes up.

The GE Profile beverage cooler is exactly what I expected. It is quiet and cools to the setpoint quickly. Fits perfectly under counter and looks great. Love the reversible and adjustable shelves. Speaking of shelves, they really need to use glides to allow them to be pulled out at least halfway without dumping everything on the floor once the pass the center of gravity. This should be an easy fix and should also be standard on an appliance in this price range. The only other thing is the rear "legs" are stamped steel which is fine except that they have no cushioning material on them and you can cut a groove in a hardwood floor in a hurry moving the cooler into position. Fixed that too late by adding adhesive felt pads to the rear "legs" and front levelers. I'm gonna love the unit while I decide how best to add drawer glides to the shelves. Based on appearance and performance alone, this would have been a 5-Star review.

Horrible Noises through cycles.

I had to go through 2 others of this same model before I got to the one currently in my home. Unfortunately, this model seems to make some strange noises when running. At first there is a squealing noise when cooling. Then, when the motor shuts off, a gurgling sound occurs for 30 minutes. This repeats every two to two and a half ours. It is very annoying when sitting in the quiet room and all you hear is either the squealing or gurgling. I'm very frustrated for having spent $1500 on this fridge only to have it make these annoying noises. I'm at a loss.
